Training Packages Ideas

There is a large variety of training options that can be tailored to you and your horses needs.  Here are just a few of the ideas of what I've offered in the past:

  • Pre Starting - This is a package that includes all the "things" your horse should be comfortable with before we entertain the idea of starting it under saddle.  This is a perfect package for horses 2-4 years of age that are not started under saddle and needing to feel confident with all the things so that starting is a smooth and peaceful process.

  • Back to Basics - For those horses who need a refresher or who have found themselves frustrated or confused with their current education.
  • Solid Citizen - Great package for the yearling to 2 year old age range.  Setting up a solid foundation for the future. Tying, standing for the farrier, bathing, ponying, trailering, clipping, leading, pressure work, etc.  This type of program can also have a lot of owner involvement.

  • Out of the Box Training - Perfect for those who are wanting to change things up, add some excitement, help reignite their curiosity and passion with their horse.  This may include obstacles, off site riding, overcoming fear/spookiness, etc.  Here we think outaide the box for the benefit of both rider and horse.
